My writing activity is based on the tides. Well, the moon and the tides. You see, I do the majority of my writing when the tide is out and the majority of my thinking when the tide is in. Sometimes I get so engrossed in writing a story that I'll lose track of time and get soaked by the salt water, and my 1952 Olivetti will get sand in it. That's probably the reason some of my stories will appear a little...runny.
Definitely deadline-driven, but throw a prompt my way and everything stops while I write that story! Thanks for the question, you've motivated me to start my short story substack! Thanks for asking and creating this community!
I organize my writing calendar after doing Sarra Cannon's HB 90 quarterly planning. It helps me focus and prioritize what needs to get done, when.

I'm usually busy on Friday nights but there's a chance I'll be available this week. So I've added it to my calendar!
