Looks good! Unfortunately I won’t be able to join the meeting as it will be 1 a.m. here in Romania, but I look forward to trying out the prompt. As for the sharing part, I think a restack on Notes (or multiple) is preferable to links inside a post, simply because there are fewer clicks involved.

Well, on the one hand, I like trying for a slot in the Spotlight post; on the other, having a line shared by a reader is also really neat, so...kinda torn on this, y'know?

I’ve been using Google Docs links because I try to stick to a biweekly schedule on my Substack, but I’m open to other suggestions.

Wow. Thanks for being Fictionistas and building community through writing. I just joined Substack and have no idea how it works!!! I have a novel in progress, many short stories and poems. Are there friends/consultants who can help me get started? Thanks. George Taylor www.carefulbytherailing.com

I really like the idea of sharing with a favorite line - highlighting a favorite line from the story and restacking the story on Notes. I think it would also be helpful if everyone who writes a story for the prompt would also be encouraged to restack one or two other stories that they enjoyed.

Looking forward to this as a newbie here. I think I like the idea of readers sharing a quote to notes, but certainly defer to more experienced substackers.

I won't be able to join the meeting, but this is such a cool idea!
