I used 'Save the Cat' to plan out some YA work, and I think it can also be very helpful for commercial and genre fiction. Since I started writing adult litfic, though, my process has changed without me noticing. I've moved away from story beats and have more of a 'pantsing' approach - but maybe this is because I looked at story beats so much that they've settled into the nooks of my brain, and I'm using some of them without thinking? Could just be something that changes with time!
Sounds like fun, but the party will be in the wee hours of the morning for us Australians, sadly. Have fun, and I'll look out for the stories that come out of it!
