Hey Meg, I'm going to schedule the next office hours for October 30 as well (one day earlier), and as a part of it, I will put in a reminder regarding the virtual meetup. That way everything will be synced in harmony, executing perfectly our ghoulish plan of eating everyone's brains... uh, I mean, our plan of having the largest participation.
While I'm not new to writing fiction (30+ years of professional writing and over 30 books) I am fairly new to Substack, having moved my readers' newsletter from MailerLite about 4-5 months ago so this virtual meetup sounds intriguing.
As for NaNoWriMo, yes plenty to talk about there. I'll be participating for my 11th time and this time also as a Write On Purpose Coach, helping to keep my fellow authors inspired and in action (and in that way, me as well). I've released a few short videos on how to win at NaNoWriMo beyond the 50K word count.
I thoroughly enjoyed last night's Google Meet and meeting many other Substack fiction authors. I look forward to future meetings as well. Now, onward to my final day of prep for NaNoWriMo as an author (my 11th time) as a Write On Purpose Coach (1st NaNoWriMo with that hat on).
I am super new and I will try to be there!!!
Yay, Erica! We look forward to seeing you!
Feeling so welcome 🤗
I started writing in April on a challenge and now I am hooked! Looking forward to meeting others!
We're a fun group. Fictionistas is where I made all my early Substack connections! It's a great place to be when you're starting out.
Lovely!
See you all on GooOOOooogle Meet! 👻
Will you be dressing as HAM this year, Geoffrey? 😉
I'm certainly no phoney baloney.

I approve of this Zombie plan.
Fabulous! I'm new too and look forward to meeting new friends on the spooky playground!
See you soon, Emily!

Two of them are at: https://youtu.be/paT-RFt2Q8g?si=kDM9xf5yosMnuOzX and https://youtu.be/hAjoCOl8xio?si=yqKNeNArzyoaIzWC. (Several others I'll be sharing through my Substack at https://wbradfordswift.substack.com/. I'll see if I can arrange my schedule to be in the Google Meetup tonight, and will share this with my newsletter subscribers.
Please share your links on the NaNoWriMo week one thread!
I'd love to if/when I find where that is.

Was hoping to attend this one but I’m double-booked with soccer. Next time.
Soccer? I just met her?
Sorry. Forgot where I was for a second. 😏
