Hey all, per Meg's recommendation I'm linking the latest episode of my nascent YouTube show where I talked query letters with fellow writer Cat Baab-Muguira. I just edited and uploaded this today otherwise I would've shared it sooner. Hope it's helpful!
You're still a contributor. Just get in there whenever you want and drop it. Maybe peek at the drafts first to make sure there aren't three other things scheduled to go out that day. 🙂 Otherwise, the floor/stage/mic is yours. I look forward to reading.
Always so nice to see you, Mary Lou! Thank you for contributing so generously to the discussion. Real Talk will be such a great addition to the Fictionistas oeuvre. I look forward to reading anything you end up sharing with us there.
Thanks for making the effort to iron out the key points bullet-by-bullet, as we aspire to ever more practical applications and value from the platform for all. I agree that it was a valuable meeting, I enjoyed it, and it offered plenty of food for thought entering 2024. Happy holidays, and happy writing, everyone!
I am so sorry I haven't been able to attend these, and so grateful for everyone here working on the behalf of authors everywhere, whether they know it or not. Thank you!
Thank you, Tom! Hopefully, we'll see you at one of these sometime. What will be great about the new Real Talk project is it will provide a lot of what we get to talking about in these Meetups, but in post form with the discussion taking place in the comments. I think it will allow for many more voices to take part.

Just want to chime in to say hey to all fictionistas especially organizers and speakers in this meetup, the writing, use of the substack tool, readership/audience discussion.. all really great input. I’m a journal-writer mostly, and my MO right now is to reduce all costs and consolidate my writing, which started as a result of tbi recovery.. and to consolidate my friends and family towards this one forum, sending out free newsletters only very occasionally, about monthly or less.. who knows what I will write and do with substack in future. I’m interested in its potential and my own future writing potential too, thus I’m interested in creative writing and fiction..
..
Also, big warm shout out to @Alexx Hart, I totally get the physical tbi responses you experienced when you appeared in this vid. Thanks for standing up with symptoms full flare, and for your contribution to the convo.
Thank you, Trish! We support your writing plans and interests and all the growth and change they will undergo in the coming year! Visit us often for inspiration and support along the way!

Thanks Amran!
Pinned! Thank you. Hope it gets a good response.
Thanks, Meg! Let's tentatively book me for a short query letter piece at a not-too-distant TBD. I realize that's a lot of hedging. :-)

I forgot! Will do.
