Hello! Would like to know if there's a possibility to share my sub stack fiction writing here? (and what would be the way to do it?)

I encourage you to look at our other posts. There’s one where you can submit your Substack, and another where you can introduce yourself.

hi Jackie, I've had a look but can't figure out what section is for submitting or self intros - any chance you could point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I'm glad. I think a lot of us envy that you've managed to stay off the social media!

Thanks for these tips. I never thought to create an A-1 sheet but now that I know, I'll have to work on that too since I plan to publish soon.

I love these tips because they allow the writer to have about 10% bravery to achieve. 😂

We’re already doing to writing, mingling, and some of us have a great sentence-long pitch. Taking that on the road or to a newspaper inbox... feels like it’s promotion that suits a writer. Feels accessible. Thanks again.

Thanks so much - it's great to have all this standard PR stuff brought together in one place. I didn't think to apply this to my newsletter, but now I'm looking to find a way for that. First up, I'm going to make a one-sheet for it - good to have on hand.

I look to other industries for ideas and a local business is always a good news story. This weekend I'll be attending a Maker's Market with crafters and painters. I may not be the person attendee's came to see but I'll stand out as the only writer there. The visual for events is important. I set up a table with a nice cover, an old typewriter or microphone. Something, however hokey, to catch someones eye.

Thanks for sharing, Ryan! I exhibited at comic-cons all the time before the pandemic, and they were amazing for getting email signups - over 100 in a typical weekend.

That sounds awesome. I'm not ready for a full fest/con yet but my coronavirus anxiety calmed enough for coffee shops!

Good luck! Using the "What's new" posts and "Offers" has been an effective way to drive traffic and get clicks from those outside my current spheres of influence.
