Yes, I plan to send a reminder out the week of the meetup. Mostly because I always need reminders. 😊5am is early. We try to move the start times for each meetup so we can try to accommodate more people, so if you can't make this one, the next might be a better fit for your schedule. Also... you can totally show up in your pajamas and no one will care!
I prefer Zoom, but Google Meet was significantly cheaper for me, and since I make $0 running Fictionistas, I couldn't justify the cost of a pro Zoom account after our Substack-sponsored one ended. So that was the deciding factor.
If anyone wants to sponsor the Zoom account, we can go back, but hopefully Google meet works well enough that we won't need to.
Hello! Would love to hear about success with monetizing fiction on Substack and if anyone has comparative experience with Ghost, Beehiiv, etc. Thank you.
Yay! I should be able to attend this meet up! Excited!
Awesome, Erica! Looking forward to seeing you there!
Hoping to make this one!
Given it launched after the last meet-up, might be worth seeing how people are getting on with Notes?
I’d love to talk about Notes!
Yes. I'm imagining a spirited debate on the subject. 😏
Very excited to see y’all again!
Looking forward to it.
Hoping to try and make this, if time allows and I can work out the conversion. 5am is a wee bit early for me to be up and ready, but we'll see.
Assume there'll be another reminder closer to the day? (I'm popping it in my diary anyway though.)

😅 I may just do that.
Zoom was convenient. Never used Google Meet, but I'll try to join, will see how it goes.

Yeah, totally understand the reasoning. Wish Zoom wouldn't have those limits on. But we'll give Meet a try and see how it goes.
Probably miss this one due to a conflict, but look forward to summary of the discussion etc. always something to learn from my fellow fiction folk!

Excellent topic, Elizabeth!
