This prompt was a lot of fun. And was honored to share my story in real time with such a talented group of writers. Can’t wait to link to the finished product next week!

Started writing this morning and got lost in my story in the silence of the morning. Best start to the day! Going for a YA tale!

Having so much fun with this. I’ve carved it down to 1042 words. How finicky is the word count? Is 1000 word a hard line? Thanks!

Going over by 42 words is fine. We just want to avoid really ling stories So that people can read them all.

I'm brand new to writing here on Fictionistas (I LOVE chick lit and funny women's fiction). I missed the Sept. 12 meeting, am I still "allowed" to write something using this prompt?

How do we restack if the story is in a Google doc? Do we just share the link to the doc?

Yeah Kerry, I think that’s the best bet. I should have written restack or share because it is true, we can’t really restack a Google doc!
