Expressed interest in this last time but came to it too late. Just submitted my form. The reason the early weeks are blacked out for me is because I will have a newborn arriving. But March looks good, if my application is successful!
Anyone hesitating to do this should go for it! It's off-the-rails fun and you get to bond with some of your fellow fictionistas with just a commitment of one post. Hosting and participating in round 1 crossed an item off my bucket list. Very excited to see where round 2 goes!
Honestly (with a caveat that I’m not running the show), since this is an activity for fiction writers on Substack, and the chapters are posted on our Substacks, it feels to me like you should be publishing a Fiction Substack to participate.

Why only 300?? 450 year seems appropriate here 🫰

It might be difficult to maintain consistency of format, layout, etc. across different platforms.

Sounds fun! Is there any sort of minimum (or unspoken, but expected) word count for the chapters?
With the first round, IIRC, we aimed for 1000-1200 words per chapter. Not sure if Jordan will stick with that for round #2, though.
