It was great hearing your voice reading out your story. You've also created a colorful but sympathetic character that I cared about by then end.

Nine hundred ninety nine words was not enough to get into the mind of Suzee, but I tried.

I think I may have to write an expanded version.

Thanks for the prompt.

I deeply struggled with this prompt, but it was fun!

Here's my entry, called Meowfia:

This was a great read. The small cat ornaments that Mina's obsessed with 'rescuing' could land her in a lot of trouble. :-) I was wondering if she would get caught at some stage as she becomes more and more daring.

Thank you! Endings are hard, but I liked the idea of her getting away with it, at least for now :)

Oh what a shame this is not done in Spanish 😊 it’s a great way of motivating writers under a prompt! I might use it and do it anyway on my Substack (but in Spanish)

Here's mine. I wrote a different story from the one I shared during the writing prompt party. This one is based both on the Storymatic cards and on a dream I had last night.

I usually come up with zilch for prompts, but this one popped into my head fully formed before I read the last words of the prompt cards. This challenge notification was one of the first things I read upon coming to check out Substack a couple days ago. Now look what y'all have done! In order to enter, I have a page and everything. Thanks for the fun! https://bellanthebeastie.substack.com/p/mine-claimed-by-the-prince

Absolutely! Even if the Muse doesn’t grant me writing inspiration, I’ll still get to nerd out and read. And hey, next time I’ll have more than a couple days in which to play.
